Every day, at least six Australians die from suicide and a further thirty people will attempt to take their own life. It’s an alarming statistic and one we are passionate about changing. We are proud to partner with Beyond Blue, a project so close to our hearts. $1 from every purchase will be donated to Beyond Blue an organisation dedicated to providing mental health support for all Australians
Our journey began in 2020.. the calm before the storm. Smooth sailing? Far from it. We have experienced every obstacle known to mankind, from manufacturers shutting down, fires on cargo ships, lockdowns forcing the closure of factories, to DHL restricting shipments to and from our factory.
It has been a constant challenge after challenge.
Starting this journey was exciting and the hype that comes with starting your own label was forever climbing. I knew this was not going to be an easy road, however I wasn’t prepared for the kick in the guts at every turn.
Little by little, the delayed shipments and covid lockdowns start eating away at you. I felt as though I was drowning in a sea of broken promises. You can’t help but feel isolated during these times and I began to feel the pinch. The pressure of starting business, with no fall back.. you are the last line. From the outside looking in, people only know the business for the high it was initially
Mental health is everything. The importance of surrounding yourself with your people, to guide and support you through your lows and to celebrate with you during your highs.
The way I see it- To share any struggle -is to shed weight off your back.
